pixelsnstrokes How do I get a pop up effect in Acymailing 6 registration form module like there was in Acymailing 5 module? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
jenny_grainger Hi, I've also asked about this very recently - 3 days ago - apparently its not available. I was advised ... "You could have a look in the Joomla extensions directory to find a popup or modal extension and put your subscription module in it." So I'm currently looking at a workaround .. using Modals ... https://www.regularlabs.com/extensions/modals/tutorial Looks very possible ... and very configurable. Unfortunately, for an auto-popup on page load, I've got to use the Pro version, which I have to pay for.
pixelsnstrokes Thank you so much @jenny_grainger ... I'll have a go at this and see if it works for me. However I hope Acymailing team is listening to our discussion and will work on bringing their inbuilt effect back.
ralfr Yes, that would be very nice. I went to a lot of trouble to make a pop-up, and now I can throw it away, which is a pity. And the new possibilities are already very limited.
mihha Guys, if you can't wait until we release our solution, you can use Engage Box extension for Joomla. Just search for it on JED I am sure that there are similar solutions for Wordpress as well
pondball late to the thread here, but I still have AcyMailing 5 on my site. My opt in for newsletter module works as pop-up. From what I'm reading here does that mean it does not work in either ACM 6 or 7? I use Engage Box for other items around my site but didn't need it for my newsletter ACM subscription. Would be good to know before going live with my site in the next week - especially if I upgrade to 6 or 7!
mihha Version 7 doesn't have popup form feature because there are lots of 3rd party solutions which can help to achieve one
