I have a joomla site, all in current up to date versions and using Acymailing ver 6.10.4
We've had the site up over a year, and using Acymailing to send out newsletters and notices with no problem.
Last week, the site owner started getting an error when he would test sending a newsletter to his email account, which has been working up to this point.
The error is as follows:
Error sending message APCAA Newsletter: Upcoming webinar and "A Minute With Faculty Members" to user@domain.org , , , (user@domain.org: User does not exist ) SMTP server error: Called RSET without being connected
I checked and the email accounts are listed as users in our joomla setup and they are activated and enabled, and have been working prior to this point.
I've never seen this error before from Acymailing. We sent the newsletter out, and all recipients in the group with that domain threw the same error.
I've checked the mx settings for the domain and they all report back normal, and they are all getting and sending email from their accounts.
I turned off email validation in the settings in Acymailing but that didn't stop the error.
I'm not sure where to trouble shoot this. On our server, in the Acymailing system, or have their techs look at their mx settings.
