After some testing looks like that Cron is still active, but it seems not accessible as an option anymore in ACY control panel. It has been hidden under the License. Therefore you need paid license to activate availability of the Cron options.
Even if I have paid license, I still haven't tried this because I want to continue running my server's cron function.
