Problems importing CSV user file to V6

I'm just importing a list from version 5 to 6 in joomla and I can select the CSV file, but it does not let me click the "import this file" to import the data. The button is greyed out. Help!
I don't want to do the auto migration because I'm not moving everything across to the new version.

Hi,

Did you click on choose file?
If yes once you've selected a file, does it name is displayed with a red cross after?

Yes, I select a file and the windows open file dialog box comes up. I select it and choose open. But then nothing happens and the "import this file" box is greyed out. I can't select it. It's like ACY is hanging when I try to upload the CSV file.

Can you look in your console to see if there is any javascript error?

I am encountering the very same problem. This is only happening on the windows pc. Windows 10. Chrom. Havent tried other browsers. Everything works fine on Macbook. Using Joomla ver 3.96.
