Hi,
Txs for the new feature of Acymailing 6 announced last week with the contest.
Especially the multilingual feature 😀 which I requested some time ago. Really appreciated.
But now I have a practical question bc things are not organized the same way in Acymailing 5 and 6 :
CONTEXT
- I have one global List which will be feeded (by CSV-import) every X-months
- I have plenty of Acy Custom Fields
- Regularly, newsletters will be sent to that List. Or I should say "to a subset of that List !
And that's the problem.
HOW I COULD SIMPLY DO IT IN ACYMAILING 5
In Acymailing 5, I could simply have one unique List and when sending a newsletter I would tick that List... and select filters on that screen.
HOW TO DO IT IN ACYMAILING 6 ?
In Acymailing 6, unless I have missed it (?), I don't see that feature.
So it means at everytime I will send a newsletter, I will have to
- create a dedicated list
- use "Automation > Mass Action" (which cannot be saved btw) or "Automation > Create"
Is this indeed the best way to do it ?
Because then I can indeed create one List for each (type of) Newsletter. Fine.
BUT the thing is : how do we manage the "unsubscribe" ?
Clicking on the Unsubscribe displays the list of Lists.
So this means that somebody who unsubscribes will still receive the NEXT newsletter bc the List of that next newsletter is obviously not created yet...
So how to manage this situation in practise ?
With other words, how can we either :
- filter the Recipients of the global List (without having to create a List for each type of Newsletter)
- if the latter is not possible, how to let Recipients globally unsubscribe from the Main List or from all present/future Lists (without making complicated Automation stuff everytime, like emptying some given List to repopulate it with other criteria every time)
