Im willing to create a (custom) link in Acymailing that shows you the newsletter translated to the user language.
Using the same link that shows you the newsletter online, but going through google translate first.
This has been discussed in the old forum: https://www.acyba.com/forum/4-general-talk-about-acymailing/55470-direct-link-to-google-translate.html
I need to use this kind of link:
https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=XX&tl=YY&u=ZZ
Where:
XX: source language
YY: translated language
ZZ: url to translate
So i create a link like this:
https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=es&tl=en&u={readonline|template:standard}{/readonline}
But when user follows this link, it lands on the main website. This has to do with the URL that has special characters ("&", "=", "/", etc) that google needs converted to url encoding (https://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_urlencode.asp).
Anyway, if i convert the URL manually to URL encoding, i do land on the correct newsletter, but the content of the newsletter is not translated, because its inside an iframe.
So i have to solve 2 problems:
-how to convert the url into url encoding
-how to replace the iframe with a regular DIV ¿?
I think a plugin available from Acymailing would be just perfect 😄
Thanks for your help!
