I am able to use the new block editor (drag and drop editor) to insert an image that has already been uploaded without a problem. However, if I try to upload a new image then I'm not able to insert it into the mailing. After upload I'm redirected to the Joomla media library.
Steps taken:
- edit the email using the new block editor
- insert an image block into the email
- this opens the Joomla image uploader
- browse for the image on my computer
- click upload
- I'm sent to the Joomla Media library with a message that the file has been uploaded
A workaround is to click out of the overlay window to return to the email editor, save what I've been working on and reload the page. Now that the file has been uploaded, I can browse to it and insert it into the email. This works but is a bit clunky and will be very confusing for my client.
