Last year, I upgraded a charity I volunteer with to AcyMailing Enterprise v7 and finally got them setup to use Amazon Web Services SES. I've seen our newsletter sending time for 1,500 addresses go from 7 hours down to 6-12 minutes depending on traffic I guess.
AWS approved us for a sending rate of 14 emails per second, which would be just under 2 minutes total sending time. Even at 6 minutes, it's still just 4/sec and takes over three times as long as what we're allowed.
Are there any AWS users out there who have achieved this 14/sec rate?
If so, please consider sharing your successful configuration settings with the rest of us.
