pulsarinformatique Hi With Acymailing 5 we could insert any joomla module inside a newsletter. It was the only way to have special contents from other components than com_content. With Acymailing 6/7 I can't find how to do it. Was it removed ?? Thanks for your comments cyril
joomleb pulsarinformatique As far as I see into the Feature Request section this is the only idea added for what you mentioned: "PreLoad modules into Newsletter as in last version" Please, Can you confirm? So I'm going to vote it too...
jvstratum Hi, This feature has not been added to v7 yet. I believe this feature is already posted on the feature request page: https://www.acymailing.com/feature-requests/. You can upvote it to indicte it shoul get more attention. There are add-ons available (https://www.acymailing.com/feature-requests/) that will let you insert content from other components. For what kind of component do you need to use data?
jvstratum Hi, There is a Seblod add-on available for v7 so you can add Seblod articles. I'm not sure if you also can use Seblod lists. If you can;t get it to work i suggest your raise a support ticket for this https://www.acymailing.com/support/. Documentation add-ons: https://docs.acymailing.com/main-pages/add-ons Documentation Seblod add-on: https://docs.acymailing.com/main-pages/add-ons
pulsarinformatique no the addon only allows you to insert seblod powered articles, not seblod lists. we already tried it 🙂
joomleb pulsarinformatique For this would be very good to send a Seblod plugin improvement request directly by email, asking support to add alsothe possibility to add Seblod List & Searches and not only Seblod Articles Anyway, a final solution (for to add Modules into emails ) should be investigated and a universal solution could be to have Text Block working with Joomla & 3rd party Extensions content Tags and: A - to add standard Joomla Editor option for the Text Block would return us a way to use Tags Buttons B - to add System Plugins compatibility and not only Content Plugins as mentioned here C - Modules could be called as mentioned by stevent D - @pulsarinformatique this can solve also your "customized newsletters" question
pulsarinformatique Hi I voted for this missing feature but too few of us voted for it. I despair seeing it soon. However it is very unfortunate that such a common feature we had in the previous release was not ported in the new one ! is there any bypass please ? thanks
johwin61 I have also voted for this. As my smart newsletter relies on the feature to insert a Joomla module, I am still stuck on Acymailing v5. Please add this feature to v7 also!
jvstratum pulsarinformatique It's not possible to add modules in v7. We have a feature request page (https://www.acymailing.com/feature-requests/) and this feature is already mentioned on it. Please feel free to upvote the ideas, the devs use the upvotes to determine priorities.
maxima Is it lawful to have paid for the acymailing 7 license to have been without the module for more than a year? latest joomla newsletters? I think I will not renew.
stevent We have advertisements in our newsletter. Since there is no plug-in to add banners to a newsletter, we use the loadmodule tag to insert a banner module. Possibilities could be endless with loading Joomla modules in a newsletter. Please, please fix this.
