With automation, can we trigger different actions (possibly using an OR option)? We need to achieve the following:
We have a campaign and want to trigger different actions based on the following scenarios. Both automations are part of the same campaign and start from the initial template EmailA:
- When users open EmailA but does not click on a link, the next email sent in the campaign is EmailB1
- If they open EmailB1 and don't click on a link they are next sent EmailB2
- If they open EmailB2 and don't click on a link the next one they receive is EmailB3 and so on
Then we have an OR which triggers the following:
- Or, if the user opened EmailA but then also clicks on a link they are sent EmailC1
- If they open EmailC1 but don't click on a link they receive EmailC2
- If they open EmailC2 but don't click on a link they receive EmailC3 and so on
- If they click on a link in any of the EmailC series they don't receive any more emails
Also, can I add as a feature request that we can select specific links in our emails as at the moment it is too generic. So if we have 3 links - one to download an ebook, one to book an event and one to register and then be able to track and carry out actions based on these. If this can be achieved any other way I am not aware of please let me know.
