I'm lost between many posts regarding this issue...
Having two versions installed, since it looks like the support of v5 is coming to its end (there are already issues with PHP 7.4.x and the old modules), I want to migrate the entire mailing system to v7.x.
I can't find a way to migrate the data. As far as I know, there is an option to do that only during a clean installation of the V7. But to do that, It is not enough to uninstall v7.x and reinstall it, but it is also necessary to drop the related tables from the DB. I tried that, but then it messed up the entire site (I didn't delete the plugins and modules since it is unclear what will happen with the existing v5 component/modules/plugins.
So, to make my questions clear:
1) What is the best way to transfer the data from v5 to v7.5?
2) Do I understand right that there isn't any Acymailing Module anymore? Do I have to combine the subscription form with another 3rd party extension?
