Error when duplicating emails

I have never really got on with creating templates (and they all seem to have been removed) so I tend to just duplicate a prevous email but when I try and do this it give the following error

1452 Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (lupine_lup2016.#__acym_mail, CONSTRAINT fk_#__acym_mail1 FOREIGN KEY (parent_id) REFERENCES #__acym_mail (id) ON DELETE NO ACTION ON UPDATE NO ACTION)

Would I be correct in assuming that with acymailing 7 I can no longer just have a simple html newsletter but need to create a template etc

Please first execute "Database maintenance" by clicking the "Check database integrity" button

That should fix the issue with the DB

You are wrong about the newsletters. You don't have to use template. Newsletter email can be created on the fly when you start creating new campaign
