How could I select custom style in editor?

Hi,
I added a custom css in template. Fine.
But I don't see custom classes in the editor scroll down menu. So I can't use them...

I misunderstood something?

(I think that I could use the source code pannel. But my clients d'ont have coding abilility.)

We're are working on a new way to apply stylesheet, you won't have to put in the classes or the ids AcyMailing will do it all alone 🙂

But before the end of August, I have to create a template for a client and AcyMailing 6: what can I do?

What do you need your custom classes for?

I'd use custom code for:

images (float, margin)
h1,…
highlighted text (background, color)
etc.

You don't plan to add the styles from the loaded custom css in the scroll down menu?

Yes I know Remi, and I could do it.

But if I choose Acymailing 6 it's for my clients that don't have coding knowledge. But they can select an item from the template and scroll down a menu to give it a style..

Well, I thought 6 version was more advanced since time it has been available for use.

We add a feature in the editor, which will be out in the next release, to add an ID on each block.

I hope that is what you needed.

I was more interested by class (selecting a custom class from the editor scoll down menu) than by IDs as they are unique...

Well in fact I wanted to insert a floating image directly in a text block and give it a custom class with the scroll down menu...
But the drag'n drop V6 editor only allows dragging an image into a block (not into a text). So I had to do that. Then cut/paste the image in the text, and give it some styling. But then the image was not editable with a double clic... So: not a reusable template.

I went back to a more "classic" template creation.

WYSIWYG editors do not fulfilled all the needs, they have there owned limits.
We're trying to improve our the best we can and I take note of your needs, we'll look for a solution 🙂
