High CPU usage with Acymailing 7 Wordpress plugin enabled

Hello,
I have been getting an abnormal amount of CPU usage from a WordPress 5.8 website running the latest version of Acymailing. With Acymailing enabled and without any campaigns sending out, the website uses 2-3x more CPU.

Could this be related to the feature that uses visitors to process the CRON? The website can get hundreds of visits per minute.

In what version was this feature implemented? Can it be disabled and only using a server CRON.

You can disable this feature if you set cron job triggering interval to 15 minutes or more

With triggering interval set to less than 15 minutes, AcyMailing will use CMS cron job triggering

It is a little confusing now that the CRON trigger is tied to the automatic send interval.

If I want to set Acymailing to over 15 minutes so that visitors do not trigger, but still want to use a server CRON job to trigger every minute - what should my settings look like?

So only choice is to keep it enabled and hogging up CPU resources or disable it completely?

Seems like there should be an option for this and not just force everyone to use a new buggy feature.

Maybe I wasn't quite clear.

Our cron job process can trigger your site every 15 minutes or more

That doesn't mean that you can't set your own cron job on your own server, which will trigger your cron job URL in shorter intervals
