Import csv with birthdate

If I import a List with users including Birthdate, they come like this 1.1.2021, but this does not work. If I put in manually I get 1/1/2021. What I do wrong with import?

Try the following:

create one subscriber and enter his birthday from the backend
export the subscriber and see in which format is birthday field in the exported CSV file
add all your other subscribers into that CSV file and format their birthday field following the example you have from exported user

Thanks, I've already done that. The date is represented as 01/01/2021. In my Excel / CSV it is 1.1.2021. There are 6000 records. That is too much to enter by hand. If I can import CSV, then that should be possible with normal means.

You didn't understand me

I told you to export your current subscribers just to see how the date field will be represented in CSV file

You can then use this information to create a new CSV file with your subscribers. In new file, you will add birthday field, for which you will use format from CSV file exported in first step

I understand, I did export. But there are the date field with /. But if I save my Excel with points between the numbers to CSV I get points between the numbers. Why I can not import this?

You have to use date format with "/" character as separator and not with "."

That is format which DB column accepts

haha. I enjoy you. I already have an Excel file WITH over 6000 subscribers. If I have to change this - I'll be at work for a day. I know import tools for Wordpress or Joomla that can handle points.
This is not necessarily about me, but about the end customer who should then import it as easily as possible.

You can also use Search/Replace in Excel and do the same process in few seconds

Sorry, but no search / replace can be used in a field formatted as a date. I need to convert the field to a custom format.
No problem for me - it is for the end customer.
I understand that ACYMAILING does not want to show any interest in user-friendliness here. Too bad.

We do care about user friendliness and our user requests.
Unfortunately 1.1.2021 may be one of the many formats handled by Excel, but is not a standard date format. The expected format for importing birthdates is as Igor explained 01/01/2021 which is one of the standard date format for website databases.
We can't create an import system that can handle every format that each user will want to use depending on the software he uses, or even worse if he manually creates it.

As regards Excel, the dates can be changed in a few seconds. You need to select the column with your dates (or all cells concerned) and change the format of the cell (either right click + format cell, or it can be found in a menu). There, choose the date format needed (dd/mm/yyyy). It should automatically convert all your dates in your file.
Note that in the next AcyMailing release (7.6.1), this format will be changed to yyyy-mm-dd to improve AcyMailing custom fields handling.
