CC received multiple copies?

I've sent out a newletter to a list of 8 people and added an extra address at the BCC field. This extra person received the email 9 times!
Also cron job sent me 3 separate notifications about its attemps (1 and then 3 and then 4 emails sent)eventhough it set up as 1 batch of 25 every minute.
Whats happening?

It is perfectly normal that your BCC contact have received 9 emails.

BCC email is added to every email that is sent. AcyMailing doesn't send newsletter in one bulk sending process. It sends each email separately.

Regarding the issue with the cron, please open a support ticket using our contact form, so we can take a look.

Okay, I get it, so this is a dangerous feature, and should not be used, right? I feel lucky I haven't tried this with a larger list:-O
So it better to subscribe this extra to the list beforehand?

Yes, it would be better to create another newsletter list, which would contain subscriber(s) who needs to get notification about new newsletter
