How to link a PDF instead of attachment ?

Is it possible to insert a link instead of an attachment and automate this process from the added attachments?

To be honest, I don't understand what do you mean with the part "automate this process from the added attachments"

Maybe I complicate the situation: I was looking for a plugin to make sure that adding an attachment using the button does not attach the file but transforms it into a link directly integrated into the message.

Since the time is limited to attachments (and I have clients who attach files of several Mb), I imagine a system that creates a link to the file to be uploaded rather than attaching it to the email.

That is not possible, I am afraid

You can only include links manually into the email, or you could use some download manager, like DocMan for example.

When you need to include the link to the PDF, add a DocMan content block and choose to show only the title of the included file
