Display list description on subscription form

In AcyMailing 5, I had a a subscription form which showed the list name (eg Newsletter) and next to it the description (eg Newsletters are sent out to let you know about events) but in AcyMailing 7, only the list name is shown on the subscription form.

Please can someone tell me how to include the description on the subscription form?

This is currently not possible. We have a feature request page where you can add your feature requests: https://www.acymailing.com/feature-requests/. Users can upvote requests to indicate it should get some priority. You might want to check if this request is already present on this page and upvote that one..

Oh, strange! An upgrade from 5 to 7 takes away functionality? That's unexpected.

It's not strange. V7 is rebuild from the ground up and is a completely different component compared to v5. Not all features have been implemented yet and maybe some rarely used features will not come back.
