I'm implementing a new scenario where a Newsletter Owner can privately manage their own newsletters and subscribers from the front end.
(This newsletter & list is being migrated over from an Outlook newsletter. Many of his recipients are already registered as members on the site, but they now need to be added as subscribers his new ACMailing list.)

I am seeking clarity as to what control or permissions the List owner should be able to have with his list. I can see that he can create New subscribers. However, regarding those already registered on the site, is it possible to grant him front end permissions to select registered members for his list, or will this access be restricted?

If restricted to New and currently listed subscribers, am I correct that only the back end site administrators are the ones who must initially set up his list to include those that are currently registered on the site?

I know that's a basic question, but thanks for making this clear.

Geoff

If you want to add subscribers which are already registered users of the site, the best option (from the frontend) would be to export email addresses (from the backend), create an import file and import them as subscribers from the frontend

Ok thanks.

Not a problem at all
