Duplicate Follow-Up email campaign

I have 20 emails in one follow-up email campaign, and I'd like to create a second follow-up email campaign with the same emails, but with some edits to each of the emails. The easy way to accomplish this seems to duplicate or export/import the first campaign to a second campaign. Is this possible? I have the latest version 7.7.4 installed.

Secondly, how might I install these same 2 follow up campaigns on a second website? Recreating each campaign, email by email is far too tedious.

Hi,

It's not possible to duplicate your follow-up campaign or to exprt your mails. Please, feel free to add your idea as a feature request: https://www.acymailing.com/feature-requests/

Meanwhile, what you can do is to save your mails as template. You can do this straight from the editor.

Once you have done this you can export these templates and import them in your other site. WHen recreating the follow-up campaign for each mail you can select "Start from" and select the imported template.

I have this same issue, and yet when I open an email from my existing campaign, I do not see the icon to save the email as a template. Why is that icon not showing up for me? It does show up on a welcome email I created, but not on any of my follow up emails. Here is a screenshot:

You can't export follow-up emails as templates. That is correct

Create follow-up emails as templates under the Templates and then, when you are creating a new follow-up email, you can choose that template as a starting point

Thanks Mihha, Any idea when either of these features might be implemented? I am busy redesigning my website and it might go live in a week or two. It would be nice if I did not have to recreate all of the emails as templates that I have already created as follow-ups. But I would need one of those features to work soon.
Thanks for any insight you might have as to how long a feature update like this might take.

This for sure won't be done in a week or two.

Our development cycle has started at the time of releasing version 7.7.5. Release cycle last for three weeks, and it already has defined set of tasks and features to be implemented.

In best case scenario, this will go into the next release cycle, so it could be ready in a month and a half

So I created a second follow up campaign of 6 emails that is triggered when a subscriber is created, and then I imported two of my own emails to the list selected. But no emails were added to my queue. And I did not receive the welcome email assigned to that list. I do end up manually importing emails to that list, so I would like that to trigger a welcome email and the follow up emails.
What am I not doing right?

I also just subscribed to my original follow up campaign, and I got the welcome email for that....but I also do not see any emails in the queue even though I created 6 follow ups to be sent over the next several days.

Please advise 🙂

I just realized that the follow up campaigns were not active, so I activated both of them. The original campaign seems to be working now as there are 6 emails now waiting in my queue. But the second campaign that is triggered when a subscriber is created did not work. I imported one of my own emails to that list, but no follow ups were triggered, and also no welcome message was sent.
Any suggestions?

You can't trigger follow-up by adding a subscriber from the backend. Only frontend subscription will trigger follow-up emails

I was able to create an automation that subscribes someone to my follow up campaign when they are added as part of a file of email addresses imported to my backend. I still have to import them to a different list than the one with the follow ups, but the automation then subscribes them to the list with the follow ups and that triggers them receiving the series of emails in the follow up sequence.

The action selected in the automation is "Subscribe to a follow up"
