I am reposting this question that I asked on another thread here as it is really a new topic:
I created a follow up campaign of 6 emails that is triggered when a subscriber is created, and then I imported two of my own emails on the backend to the list selected. But no emails were added to my queue. And I did not receive the welcome email assigned to that list. I do end up manually importing emails to that list, so I would like that to trigger a welcome email and the follow up emails.
Mihha replied: "You can't trigger follow-up by adding a subscriber from the backend. Only frontend subscription will trigger follow-up emails"
My question is, so then how do I send a series of emails to subscribers imported on the back end? In Acymailing 5, I could subscribe them to a campaign when I imported emails and they would automatically get the series of campaign emails. Is there no way to do this in Acymailing 7 ????
And if this is true, what is the difference between setting up follow up emails triggered by "Subscriber Creation" versus emails triggered by "User Subscribe".
I have a service through Google that collects emails from visitors to my site who have agreed to let me contact them, but the last time when the person helped me set that up, there was no way to integrate it with Acymailing 5, so I have to manually add the collected emails once a week or so. Do you know if this has changed with Acymailing 7? Would he be able to integrate it now?
I would not like to lose the capability to send a series of emails to people imported into my lists. Please let me know if there is any way to do this in ACYmailing 7.
