Do I need two licenses for ACYmailing 5 and 7 on the same website?

I have both Acymailing 5 and Acymailing 7 installed on my website. Do I need two separate licenses in order for automatic sending to work?

And can they both use the Acymailing cron?

On Acymailing 7, there is a link to a cron on my website: https://endless-satsang.com/index.php?option=com_acym&ctrl=cron

How do I remove that so that Acymailing uses the cron that comes with the Enterprise version of Acymailing7? Isn't there a cron hosted by Acymailing? How do I get that one to work?

The cron on Acymailing 5 is working using https://endless-satsang.com/index.php?option=com_acymailing&ctrl=cron

But I can't seem to get a cron to work automatically on Acymailing 7. What do I need to do?

Seems to be working now. I think it was using a url that had a temp folder in the url. I created redirect without the temp folder and now it seems to be working on Acymailing 7 also. I did not see where I could edit the url for the cron directly.

So I thought I had solved the problem because the cron is working now on acymailing7....but it stopped working on acymailing 5. I've discovered that if I activate the cron on one version, then the other version stops working.
How do I get both crons to run automatically????

Back to my original question: Do I need two licenses to have them both run simultaneously?

You can't do that because our cron job service can trigger only one cron job URL with one subscription

If you want to trigger both versions at the same time, you have to purchase two subscriptions or use your own cron job process configured on your own server

Both version 5 and version 7 currently show the cron url as https://endless-satsang.com/index.php?option=com_acym&ctrl=cron Is that a cron on my own server? If so, how do I change version 7 to use a cron on acymailing's server? I do not see any way to edit the cron url. How do I change this?

No, we don't have any documentation on this because how you create a cron job process on your own server depends on the great number of facts

Your own cron job just has to "call" your cron job URL.

Internet is full of tutorials how to do this based on your server configuration and available tools that you have on the server

So to clarify, is the url https://endless-satsang.com/index.php?option=com_acym&ctrl=cron using a cron service on Acymailing's servers? And if I set up a cron on my own server, how do I change the settings in Acymailing to get it to use my cron instead?

Or is the url https://endless-satsang.com/index.php?option=com_acym&ctrl=cron using a cron on my own server? If that is the case, then how do I set up one of the two versions of acymailing that I have installed to use a cron on acymailing's servers.

Right now, both version 5 and 7 are using the same cron and so they will not both run automatically. But I still do not see how or where I change the cron url on the configuration page.

If you want to use your own cron job on your own server, you have to deactivate the cron job process under the License tab

Version 5 and version 7 have different URLs. Please check them carefully and you will see the difference

Just call both URLs and you will trigger a cron job in each version

Ok, I think I am getting this now. I will get my web person to create a cron for me, and then I will leave version 5 deactivated, and I will have my web person use the url as it is displayed on version 5.

Success!! I figured out myself how to create a cron and now the automatic send process is working on both 5 and 7.
