I recently migrated version 5 to version 7 on a new Joomla 4 version of my site. There was a list on the old site called Endless Satsang Newsletter, but I deleted that list and replaced it with a list called New Main Email List.
But lately, I am getting unsubscribe requests that are for the old list that no longer exists. I have bounce handling set to unsubscribe them and then block their email, but it unsubscribes them from the old non-existent list and leaves them subscribed to the new list. See the attached unsubscribe form I just got when clicking on unsubscribe in one of my own emails that shows the old non-existent list as an option:
So my questions are why are they still subscribed to a list that I deleted when I migrated to version 7? And if bounce handling also blocks their email, does that mean that they will not receive any emails from me even though they are still subscribed to the newer list? Again, bounce handling is only unsubscribing them from the old list I deleted but that still seems to exist, and it is not unsubscribing them from the new list I created.
