Enable modern authentication (Office365/Microsoft365)

Hi all, I was working on getting Acymail to connect to Microsoft 365 and stumbled on this article: link.

With the support for basic authentication going away, more people will run into issues with sending mail over smtp and bounce handling will give issues. Is modern authentication (OAUTH2) going to be added to the SMTP and IMAP configuration?

yes but I've been asking this on a support ticket for weeks but they just wrote me they don't see the issue on their test sites so the problem does not exist 🙁
We can't no longer use smtp.office365.com in Acymailing but we have the same issue with new ElasticEmail accounts.
The best thing is that the Joomla mailing settings still work with the same settings while Acymailing doesn't.
Very very disturbing for our customers!

I'm having the exact same problem; no bounce handling anymore since I went to Office365 and Microsoft Exchange.
