I have set up AcyMailing for my client to use for their weekly newsletters. They have several branches, and each has private access to their own newsletter. Editors generally don't log in via /administrator/, and instead do all their work from the Joomla front end.
I have created specific Joomla ACL user groups for their email campaigns and list management, and assigned each different branch to their own.
I have a couple of issues that need resolving for this to work:
Uploading images. What are the Joomla user permissions that are required for their groups to allow editors to upload an image? And, is it possible to assign particular folders for each newsletter to hold images for their own newsletter?
To assist them, I have assigned myself to the same user groups, but I do not see the Emails they create. Only those I create. Can this be fixed? I believe all members of the same group should see the Emails assigned to that Group.
May I urge you again to create some Joomla modules for listing newsletter archives, and for showing the latest newsletters (from selected categories).
Thanks for your help! It took a while to convince my client to go with AcyMailing -- these fixes will help greatly.
Regards,
Geoff
