How to Insert Joomla Content in AcyMailing 7

Been a long time user and have finally made the switch to AcyMailing 7, but I can't figure out how to access the plugins that are installed. Are buttons supposed to show up in Acy Editor like in the old version? I don't see any way to insert them. I have both Acymailing 5 and 7 installed at the same time. Could that be causing an issue?

Hi,

V5 and v7 are two completely different components, each with their own set of database tables. So they can co-exist on the same site.

V7 is fully focussed on the drag & drop editor. It's explained here: https://docs.acymailing.com/main-pages/templates/create-a-template

To insert Joomla articles you simply drag the Joomla article block into your mail design and select the article or category articles you want.

That may be why I'm not seeing it. I'm using a custom template. Is there now way to insert content when using that?

Hi,

That's probably an html template and you're editing it in the cms default editor. If this is the case you need to enter the tags manually.

You might want to rebuild yopur template in the drag & drop editor. It's easy to use and it's the future of Acymailing.
