Universal Tag always shown as "Please specify a template"

I have been using the following tag description:
{loaddata:db1136736-obiblio.qry_loans|fields:barcode_nmbr, title, |where1: jmlusr,=,[userid]|template:table|nostructure|limit:1}
however the response in preview is always "Please specify a template"
