Problems with the plugin "(auto) Subscribe during Joomla registration".

It does not matter if it is ACTIVATED or DEactivated: Under Acymailing 6 ALWAYS a new newsletter user is created AND also automatically immediately "Confirmed / Activated". It does not matter whether the user (or the admin) has ticked "Newsletter" or not.
If the plugin is activated, it sends out a confirmation email, but does NOT wait for the link to be clicked.

Under Acymailing 5, the front-end registration works correctly: Only after the account activation, the confirmation mail for the newsletter is sent and only after clicking the link, the newsletter subscription also activated.

The admin registration works but also under Acymailing 5 not correct: Although I put the check mark in "newsletter", the new user created by the admin always receives a confirmation email, in which he should give his consent. That must not be.

What has changed in this regard under Acymailing 6? Is not it working with the old autosubscribe plugin? Is Acymailing 6 not ripe for productive websites?

So I can not use it. For the time being I am staying with Acy 5. What should I do to make sure that the admin registration works for Acy 5 and that no confirmation e-mail is sent if the newsletter checkbox is not set?

The plugin "(auto) Subscribe during Joomla registration" is only working for AcyMailing version 5.
In version 6, you should go in AcyMailing configuration, tab Subscription and set the option "Create a user on site account creation" as you need.

The option "Send a confirmation email in addition to the site account creation email" will allow you to choose if you want to send an extra confirmation email for AcyMAiling or only let Joomla send its own.

If you choose to create a user in AcyMailing 6 along the Joomla user creation, then it will send a confirmation email. We have not added yet the possibility to add lists on the Joomla user creation form, so the newsletter choice you see is from the version 5 plugin.
