What does 'Any time AcyMailing is triggered' mean"

We have an automation that we want to run each time we run some PHP code to truncate and re-populate a database. I have set up the automation to run 'Any time AcyMailing is triggered but I don't know how to trigger AcyMailing manually. Once we run the report that re-creates the database, how can we immediately generate an AcyMailing trigger? Is there a control or action in AcyMailing that we could run to trigger AcyMailing? Better yet, is there PHP code available that we could add to our PHP code that creates the database to also trigger AcyMailing?

Hi,

In the automation you define what you want to do. You need to define a trigger (like every day at 8am) that will control when the automation should run.

"Every time Acymailing is triggered" means every time the cron runs.

I created an Automation with 'Any time AcyMailing is triggered'.
With a condition:

An Action:

And the Action Target:

And then activated the automation on the Summary tab. The number of subscribers on the Expired Members list did not change from its previous value to '5' users.

Configuration/queue/advanced reports:

So AcyMailing was triggered but the list did not update.

Why didn't the list update to show 5 users?
