Thumbnail for templates

IN v5 we could set a 'preview' template picture/thumb. Don't see that options in v6.
I see one that was pre-installed with a thumb (well with a crazy size of 1000px resized to 128px) but none of the imported ones carry the thumbnail and it's a bit of a grey mess...
Would love to set the thumbs again.

Hi,

For the moment you can't set a thumbnail for your templates.
If you're using the HTML editor you have the default template thumbnail.
If you're using the drag and drop editor AcyMailing generate automatically the thumbnail.

But I had this feature in our TODO 🙂

is there an update on this? At the moment when we start from an existing template it will not create the thumbs - just the default grey image.

All of my templates are using the same thumbnail. If I edit one template, they then take on that thumbnail. Customer can't see the difference in templates because the thumbs are all the same.

Can you provide us with more information? Are you woirking with the html or the drag & drop editor? And did you create each template seperately or did you change a template and saved it as another one? WordPress or Joomla?

Using AcyMailing Enterprise 7.4.1, more than a year and a half after the first question, it still seems that it is not possible to set a thumbnail for templates ! It might be time to plan this option, however present in versions 5 and previous, very useful when you have a lot of templates to use !
What is it currently? Is there a possibility of doing it on personal templates, and if not when will it finally be possible?

Hi,

You can't set a thumbnail in Acymailing as it is generated automaticly.

As a workaround you can export your template, replace the thumbnail file with your own (don't change the name of the file) and import your template again.

It's till an issue. The automatic gnerated Thumbnail seems to be a generic one. It has nothing to do with my template.
And yes, i see youre workaround. It's a bit of a hassle to import and re-import all templates to make it fit.

Where exactly is the Export Funktion? I can't see it anymore under "Templates" ...

Exporting a template means that you actually download it, clicking the download button under the template thumbnail
