As many of our customers are not seeing the emails we send for a variety of reasons, such as they don't check emails and emails go to Junk Folder / Promotions Tab, I want to allow our customers to see the newsletters we have sent them when they are logged into their account. I also need to make sure they can only see the newsletters for the lists they are currently subscribed to. Maybe you have this working already and I'm not seeing how to set it up. It almost works In Joomla using menu item Mailing Lists Archive (All) ... along with setting Access VIEW/SUBSCRIPTION ACCESS in each list to 'Custom' and select 'Registered' (and don't select 'not logged in', 'Public', or 'Guest'). By default, it would be assumed only subscribers would be able to see their lists ... but that is not the case as everyone can see all lists and all newsletters. Adding Joomla access levels and user groups for each List is not an option as it would add so much unnecessary work, especially when we have over 20 lists for each of our client's websites ... so maintaining that would be a nightmare.
How do we fix this / add this basic requirement?
I'll start looking at the Joomla template override(s) on front end code for this, maybe I can figure out how to add a few if statements to make this work ... if so I will post answers here.
Should work for both WordPress & Joomla... but I'm only familiar with Joomla so far.
Thank you for such an amazing plugin!!
