We have a challenge on our website.
We can see that people are subscribing to our newsletters — and we can see that this is done intentionally (ie. not 'fake' subscribers).
However, the majority of these new subscribers are not confirming their subscription.

I have set the ACYMailing subscription form to redirect to a page that alerts the new subscriber that they will receive an email and that they should check spam / allowlist our email address.
Some new subscribers are added when they register a new website user account, either by registering a new account, or by 'auto-registration' when they make a WooCommerce purchase. I'm uncertain if the redirection to the page with the "alert" (as above) works in this case? But that redirection may not even be an appropriate thing to do, given when they are subscribing (like during the WooCommerce checkout).
I've also made an automation like this screenshot below, but I can't see if these emails are being sent, nor can I see if it's helping in any way.
