No space between paragraphs in email with content from posts.

My posts have proper space between paragraphs on the website, but no space shows between paragraphs in the emails. Is there a simple CSS I can use to fix this? I've tried some I found but they haven't worked. I'll admit CSS is not my strength.

Hi,

You can fix this by adding custom css to the custom stylesheet of your template/mail.

p {
  margin-bottom: 16px;
}

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. I'm pulling from standard posts which show up in the emails as they should but missing the space they had in the published posts.

FYI: The theme I'm using is ENFOLD, but not using its page builder for the posts. Latest version of WP.

No, that didn't work either.
I looked at it a bit closer and noticed that there isn't even a paragraph break in the text (in the email), but there was one in the original post. Just one space between the end of one paragraph and the next. So, there is more of an issue than just paragraph spacing.
