Newbie: how to get the unsubscribe page?

Hi there,
Sorry, here is a newbie question for the community.
I'm exploring AcyMailing but can't figure out a few things. Even the documentation doesn't help.
I've created a newsletter which contains an unsubscribe link.
Then I send the test to an address of mine, get the email and click on the unsubscribe link so that I can test the result.
Unfortunately this only leads me to the site homepage.
The weird thing is that yesterday I think I got the right page appearing (with far too much fields by the way).
But today: nothing. (I guess I changed a few parameters since then).
Could anyone help me by letting me know what I should check first in order to make it work?

In case it might be easier for someone to help, here is the URL I actually get when I click the unsubscribe link in the email :
https://www.domain-name.fr/component/acym/frontusers/unsubscribe/26-newsletter-name.html?id=895&key=GJUGH585HHH&language=fr-FR
(I have replaced the codes with random letters).

So my guess is that the address is correct, but something is missing (or not activated?).

Any idea about what I'm missing?

Hi,

You can enable the unsubscribe page in Acymailing->Configuration->Subscription. Scroll down and open the Advanced section and scroll further down to find the settings for the unsubscribe page.

Well, I finally could make it work, but not really knowing how. I mean this option was already activated. Maybe I wasn't doing things in the right order, I don't know…

I have 3 off topic questions:

When your licence expires, does it mean you won't get any more updates or AcyMaling won't work or send anything at all?
I've noticed when you're reading emails from a dark mode platform (for instance in Gmail, etc.), white sections become black (well, OK, that's the idea of dark mode), red titles become pink, etc. So images with a white background are displayed in some ugly way (ie not melted with the email bg). And the whole thing becomes ugly. Is there a way to get a better result? Like dark mode css or something? The only idea I could get so far has been to use PNG format with transparent bg, which doesn't solve the text color changes.
Oh and one last thing. I noticed there was a possibility to add some custom CSS which is great. But I couldn't make it work. I'm not sure how to use it. Do you have any concrete and simple example of a working content added to this field?

Hi,

When your license expires you can continue to use Acymailing. The downside is that you won't get updates, ticket support and you can't use the cron features like automatic sending anymore.

For detailed information about dark mode emails you'll find comprehensive resources ad Litmus. See this link for example: https://www.litmus.com/blog/the-ultimate-guide-to-dark-mode-for-email-marketers/

You can inspect the html for each content block to see which classes are used. If some css code does not seem to work you can add !important to it. If that still doesn't work you need to use more specific css (Read more about this hre: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Specificity.

Oh OK, I wasn't adding !important to the CSS, that's why I didn't get any visible result. Now it works!
