Question regarding supported PHP versions

Hi,

We're planning our Joomla 3.x to 4 migration. We're currently running AcyMailing 5.10.4, but plan to (eventually) upgrade to the latest version.

Will version 5.10.4 run on both PHP 7 and PHP 8?
Will version 7.9.8 run on both PHP 7 and PHP 8? (I realize moving from version 5 to 7 is considered a migration)

Hi,

You are using an outdated version of Acymailing, which dates back to August 2018. Unfortunately, this version is not compatible with php 8, and could potentially cause issues with php 7 which was released in 2019. To avoid any potential issues, we recommend that you upgrade to version 7, which runs on both php 7 and 8.
