Newsletter changes hard code URLs on send

We use the Enterprise version 5.10.10 and our website uses a number of subdomains

When we hard code a URL to point a link to another subdomain, ie,

https://subdomain.ourdomain.org

on sending the URL is changed to

https://ourdomain.org

This is annoying and frustrating. Is it by design?

Yes, that's by design. It is used for click statistics and because it's better to only have links to your own domain in your mailing.

The good news is Acymailing also adds a "urlid=" parameter to your link. When you click on the link in the mail you are lead to your domain, the click is registered and Acymailing then redirects yoiu to the page on your subdomain. Works the same for external links.
