Create new subscriber fails

I want to create a new subscriber (AcyMailing > Subscribers > Create). After filling in name and email, I click on "Save".
This was OK in 8.0 but not anymore in 8.1.2. After click on "Save", you'r back on the list of subscribers but the new subscriber is not there. Same with "Save&exit".
Joomla 4.2.7; PHP 8.0
