Acymailing tales hours to deliver test email

Hello,
I was just wondering if the test emails usually take hours yo get to the inbox? Im on Godaddy business hosting (shared) if that matters.

Hi,

It typically takes only a few minutes for emails to arrive. To ensure that your emails are not rejected by the recipient's mail server, please make sure that you have properly set up your SPF, DKIM and DMARC DNS records.

Additionally, if you have configured Acymailing to use PHP mail, it is recommended that you change this to SMTP mail.

jvstratum Thanks for the response. I'm assuming I need to contact go daddy to have them check those settings? And just to confirm, I should not use php mail, just smtp mail?

Hi,

Normally you should be able to use either one. The reason we suggest this is that it is very hard to debug what happens when using php mail.
