No Images in Acymailing 8.2

Linked and/or embedded mages are not being displayed with Acymailing 8.2 and ElasticMail.
Linked and/or embedded mages are fine with Acymailing 5.11 and ElasticMail in the same email clients.
Embedded images are fine with Acymailing 8.2 and PHP mail in same email clients.

So, everything works separately but not together?
I have tried with and without tracking to see if that was the conflict but no.

Does anyone know how to get Acymailing 8.2 and ElasticMail to play nice?

Is it possible to downgrade from Acymailing 8.2 to 5.11 without starting over?
