I'm trying to get a site upgraded to J4 that is currently running J3 and the most recent version of AcyMailing Enterprise. I wanted to make a backup before starting. When I do so Akeeba dies and I am almost certain it is because the stats tables for Acy have multiple millions of lines in them. I have gone into Configuration > Data Collection and set the Delete detailed stats and Delete user history to 6 months (they were previously not set to delete anything). I left it for 24 hours and came back tonight but when Akeeba runs the backup it still shows that it is backing up millions of lines of stats in each of the stats tables.
How long should it take for Acy to empty those old entries and is there something else I need to do? If need be is there any potential downside to going in through phpmyadmin and deleting stuff in any of the acy stats tables prior to a certain date? If so which tables can I safely delete old stuff from?
