I am building a new Joomla site using acymailing starter version 8.4.1. I have used acymailing starter 5 for years with no issues. I set up the config section, created my template, set my subscriber and started a test email campaign. When I sent this campaign I got the following error "550 5.7.1 [BFD] Sender prohibited by SPF". I backed up to the global config section of Joomla and sent a test message using sendmail. That worked perfectly. I then moved to the config section of acymailing and set it to sendmail and selected send a test (Note I tried to test this by changing to SMTP mail but after inputting the gmail credential it fails to test with a cannot connect message). I got this message in acymailing "Message Test e-mail from https://xxxxxx.ca/ successfully sent to <myemail>@Gmail.com" . However, when I checked the recipients mailbox I get this error (I get this not matter what email I send the test to):
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
<myemail>@Gmail.com
host smtp.mailchannels.net [34.209.94.193]
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
550 5.7.1 [BFD] Sender prohibited by SPF
Any thoughts?
