soft bounce strategy

I've seen this advice for handling soft bounces, more than once. "Try again later but not too soon. Try again after you've changed something in your mail configuration or sending behavior." I'm wondering how I'd keep track of this in AcyMailing.

Consider a case where a mailbox full bounce triggered the Mailbox Action to deactivate the user and add the user to the bounced_mbox_full list a year ago (well past our Data Collection period). If I enable the user, send an email and it bounces the same way the user is disabled and the subscription date is updated with a new date. At that point I'd like to know that this user bounced a year ago and that I should give up and delete the user.

How do people handle this?

I wanted to bring to your attention the option to automate the handling of bounces with our Acymailing software. Our default set of rules can be edited or supplemented with your own. By taking advantage of automatic bounce handling, you can manage bounces more efficiently, including the ability to automatically deactivate or delete a subscriber after a specified number of bounces. You can also choose to receive an email notification for specific types of bounces.
