1/ Do you have any use-case examples?
2/ Can I send a different start email for each segment? example: 1st contact, 2nd contact ...
3/ I have the impression that you can set conditions. For example, an email is read by a recipient; if you set a read condition, you won't see the same email again.
4/ I haven't quite understood the point yet, but I'm trying to avoid sending a similar email (e.g. call for donations) twice to a recipient, because he's on 2 lists; e.g. registered member list + subscriber1 list + subscriber2 list.

Segments are not necessary to prevent Acymailing from sending the same email twice to the same user. When an email is sent to multiple lists, the subscriber will only receive it once, even if they are subscribed to multiple lists. If you need to resend the same email, Acymailing will prompt you to send it to all users or only to users who haven't received the email yet.

However, if you want to target a specific group of users who have received a certain email before, you can use a segment. An example would be sending a reminder to users who have previously received your call for donations.

Yes, I understand, to avoid duplication, but do you have any use cases that could be inspiring?

Otherwise I can make a segment for example unread message for a month and be able to use it in another segment?

on the other hand, it doesn't seem possible to send a different message header for each segment?
a) header 1 or header 2
b) common part of the message

Segments are used for filtering subscribers, and are not meant to filter the content of your emails. However, we offer custom fields as an option for including subscriber-specific information in your emails. You can use dynamic text to reference your custom fields, and the content will be added at the time of sending.

I'm having trouble with your custom fields. I've been suggesting integrating joomla's native custom fields for years. Is this programmed now? Or is there an idea to link the two?

Yes, you also can use the Joomla custom user fields as dynamic text.

Super indeed before I stored rather in com_contact.

Could you also give me an answer on the use of segments in other segments?
example: segment of subscribers who haven't opened the mail since the last mailing (possibly with less than 3 mailings to avoid spamming them over time)
