Attachments missing in mails. Only visible in online view

Currently testing AcyMailing Starter 8.5.0 on Joomla 4. Looks good so far but mails don't contain the selected attachment. It is only visible when click on the online view link of the mail.

Configuration to embed attachments is checked

What I am missing ?

Please try to disable embeed attachments.

Then, the link to the online attachment is added to the mail but not the attachment itself.

Can you please check if these links are actually working correctly and can you inform us about the filesize of the attachment.

Yes these links are working correctly and the filesize of the attachment is 874 kb pdf file

Can you check one more thing? Please go to Configuration->Security and scroll down to the Files section. and check if the upload folder path only contains forward slashes. If you see any backslash, replace is with a forwrad slash.

configuration was:

media/com_acym\upload\

I changed it into media/com_acym/upload/ and tried again. But same result

Ok - now I changed back the embed attachments to on and it worked now. Seems the issue was only the file configuration / backslash thing
