fields on the user profile page not editable?

Hi!
I try to use a menu link type "acymailing" -> "user profile" to give the customer a possibility to manage his own subscriptions. Generally this works. But there are two form fields: "name" and "email". The field "email" makes sense. But not "name". When a customer subscribe to a list, he only have to register with the email address - but no name. If he wants to cancel his subscription he have to insert a name - because it is a mandatory field in the "acymailing / user profile" page.

How can I change this? I want to deactive this "name" field.
Or: Is there any way to provide a page - only for cancellation of subscription?

P.S. I use an active enterprise version of acymailing, but could not find any "support" link. So I wrote here ...

Hi,

The reason of this behaviour is that your subscribers are not logged in to your website. By default non-authenticated users can only modify their subscription. This is a security to prevent abuse of email addresses and names.

You can change below setting into YES in Configuration->Subscription to allow them to change their email and name as well.

I'm not sure you understood me correctly. 😉
My email subscribers do not have any account on my website. So ... your idea may make sense at first glance. But no matter what option I choose (in the settings you marked red above) - the page contains the same content!

It's like this:

The first field "name" is the problem. I have to delete it, because no subscriber have used any name in the subscription process. There exists no name - only the email address!

And if this page (menu type) is the wrong way, what could I do indeed? I need a simple "cancel my subscription" page, where the customer can put in his email address, choose a list and click a "unsubscribe button".

Hi,

The user profile page is a place where your users can edit their preferences. I now understand that what your really want is an unsubscribe page.

You can delete the menu item for the profile page. Next, head to Configuration->Subscription and cofigure your unsuscribe page.
