How to have a button in the article to send it automaticaly like in the oldest version of Acymailing.
I see it's now possible in this french video displaying at the Joomladay 2023 : https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/joomla-outil-web-des-collectivit%C3%A9s-olivier-guillard/ (see from 32:37)
Thanks

Hi,
In v8 you no longer need to use the button mentioned, as you can utilize the Automation feature to send automatic emails for your newly created articles.
In the video, someone demonstrated a more advanced approach by using Joomla custom article fields within the Automation, which adds greater flexibility to the process. Thank you for sharing this video with us.
For additional information on Automations, please refer to the documentation provided here: https://docs.acymailing.com/main-pages/automations
Hi
What is unfortunate is that we do not know how to do this manual sending from a Joomla field as shown in the video.
Because I am not serene with automated emails. If we notice when saving the article that something needs to be changed, will it already have gone to the newsletter?

Hi,
That depends on how often you trigger the sending of new created articles.
The point about the Joomla custom article fields is that you can eneble or disable the field in your article. In your Automation or Automatic campaign you can set a condition that this joomla custom article field must be enabled. So, as long as you keep it disabled the article won't be send.
Hi
If it's all the hours and if we are just 2 mn before the tragging it can be sent. That's the problem. And no way to have an alert to valid a newsletter befor to be send.
The second point is interesting. It's explained somewhere in the documentation ? But works only for Joomla and I have a wordpress website too that will be fine to have this functionnality too.

Hi,
You can use an Automatic campaign instead of an Automation (the two have an overlap in features). When you setup an Automatic campaign you can choose to have it only send after your confirmation.
It's documented here: https://docs.acymailing.com/main-pages/campaigns/automatic-campaigns
