Subscriber Modification emails

I started receiving hundreds of "Subscriber Modification" emails after I have sent a newsletter. Have switched off notifications as far as I can but still getting these annoying emails? Cannot figure out what has changed re each subscriber and why the messages are being sent? Could someone please help?

You have opened a support ticket regarding this, so let us continue there. There is really no point in opening multiple support requests about the same problem, because this only stretches support and doesn't expedite the resolution
