sending a mail (or notification) when a article is published or modified

To start, I'm a beginner with AcyMailing. I installed AcyMailing (Enterprise version) on my Joomla 4 website.
I want to use AcyMailing to send a mail or a notification when a article is publised or modified. Unfortunately, after reading the documentation and some forum articles, I don't found the recipy to complete this job.
Can someone help me?

Thanks for your response. I am familiar with this article. Unfortunately, I may be missing one or more steps or I am not understanding the complete article. First of all, I am using AcyMailing Enterprise 8.6.1 in a Joomla 4 environment.
I have 3 options when I start from the AcyMailing dashboard : (1) Audiance; (2) Emails; (3) Automation; I understand the audiance item. But I can not match the workflow mentioned in the article and the workflow processes that are covered by Emails and Automation.

Hi,

In the left Joomla menu choose Components->Acymailing->Emails. Next, head over to the tab Automatic Campaigns and create a new Automatic campaign. There you'll see all the options.

I'm sorry to say, but I can't configure AcyMailing to send an email as soon as a particular article has been modified. To further specify my wishlist: I want mail the article directly (including the last modification) to some (listed) registered users after it has been modified. On the website the article is only visible for the registered listed users. There is something that keeps me on the wrong track.

Which trigger should I use? How can I match the trigger with that specific article? How can I include the modified article within the mailing (thus not only a link, but also the intro or the complete article)?

I used NoticationAry for this purpose on my Joomla 3 website. Unfornately, this component can't be used in a Joomla 4 environment. I still hope that AcyMailing is a good replacement for NotificationAry (although I've been working on this for hours now).

Hi,

You can use the trigger "Each time Acymailing is triggered". In you mail add the Joomla artice block and select the category you wish to use. Under Automatic campaign options make sure you set the minimum number of elements to 1, otherwise Acymailing will send the last created document each time the campaign is triggered.

In case you need further assistance with this, please inform us about the settings you have used and what is not working for you.

That having said, considering you only need to inform a small number of users you might want to check out Joomla Workflows. It's a new core feature in Joomla 4 and for your prupose maybe it might suit your needs better then Acymailking. Yes, it works!!! The problem was situated in the value of the number of elements. The fact was that this essential setting is on the bottom of the page and It's easy to lose track of this setting.
