Customising the default confirmation email

How can I customize the default subscription confirmation email?

I am selecting the new template at
List > My List Name > Welcome Email
However, it's always sending an email with the default template.

Am I missing something?
Please help.

Hi,

You can customize your confirmation email in the configuration -> subscription.
You'll have to click on the button Edit email.

Here is a screen :

One more thing, in place of --> Click here to confirm your subscription
I want to use a button, what link I need to provide.

You can simply use this : {confirm}Your button here{/confirm}
This should do the job!

Hi!
I tried to modify the confirmation email, clicking on the good link in the configuration page. I tuned the confirmation email exactly as I wanted it to look and tried several tests, all was fine.

I then wanted to execute an automated email sending a promotion after the customer subscribes, and I started from the confirmation email to use the global layout/look of my confirmation email (did I tell you I'm lazy a bit!)

Then I re-subsbribed with a different email address and it did not work: Can not load the e-mail : acy_confirm
So I went to look back and clicked the same link to edit the confirmation email and it's not there anymore: It's empty, like it never exsted...
I tried to re-build it and even if I send examples and they are perfect, it seems like the system never saves the template and nothing works...
So what can I do to make it work again... is there a specific email template that the conf, email must be named in the folder system that I may have erased ?

Need help, I can't find it on my side.

I dont understand how to get the confirmation link on a button. Can you help me? I also tried to make it work with the url, but that doesnt work. So my button code is:

If I dont want to add the url, but use the confirm code, where do I add the "{confirm} {/confirm}" ?
