I like your reply Alexandre!
I was already looking for a way to program these things.
In our Joomla installs we use JEM. We like this plugin since the interface is clear for less technical users.
Since I liked the AcyMailing pluging (essentials) in Joomla, we decided to advice our customers the Wordpress release.
Those versions seem less compatible as I thought.
In Joomla we generate in the newsletter the events that are planned for the coming month in a block. Multiple settings are adjustable.
In Wordpress the Timely calendar is most used. We want to implement the same Calendar feature in connection with AcyMailing. But perhaps we should use an other plugin in Wordpress for the Calendar function.
Next to this we walked accross a similar feature for generating our newsletters. In Joomla we specify say 3 last posts in certain categories to display their summaries with a link. This seems not possible in the Wordpress (essential) edition.
And their are some other problems that I was confronted with, but they are more common.
I could not copy a template to modify for a custom template.
I could not find a way to edit generated text in top and bottom ('If you can not read this, go to our website', above by example.
I could not copy a text block to an other block.
But perhaps I missed some instructions....
